Bake cookies together with your child! While preparing everything, ask your child: "what else do you want in your cookie?"  Give your child 3 options, for example: chocolate, coconut, or walnuts. Let your child choose their preferred option and let them fold them in. 

Create cookies from play-doh or in-house available art materials, like paper and glue, with your child. They can practice requesting play-doh, tools for play-doh, and/or paper, glue, and various art materials to decorate the 'cookie art project.'
